It Can't Hold You Anymore is an exploration of embodied/exterior forms of representation. The surface and texture of the fruit is reproduced, while its insides and colour are abandoned. What is left is an object stripped of vitality, and unable to reproduce itself or effect relationality in the manner of its predecessor. It has become pure representation.
